阿修羅像にも使われている乾漆技法を応用し、手芸的な要素を取り入れ造形した作品です。
漆芸を学ぶ中で体験した顕微鏡的な眼差しに着想を得て制作に至りました。
This piece was created by applying the kanshitsu (dry lacquer) technique, used in the famous sculpture of Asura, and by integrating aspects of sewing and embroidery. I was inspired to make this piece by the microscopic viewpoint I experienced while learning lacquer art techniques.
